Sports Medicine
Dr. David Ethier is an orthopedic surgeon and an athlete. Dr. Either understands the importance of staying active and "staying in the game," even with increasing age. As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Fellowship-Training in Sports Medicine, Dr. Ethier performs leading-edge arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder joint and knee joint to help active adults return to play as soon as possible. We offer onsite Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections and Cortisone Injections at Belleview Orthopedic Center to soothe painful stiff joints and help keep you in the game.
Arthroscopic Surgery
Dr. Ethier performs arthroscopic surgery on the rotator cuff in the shoulder, as well as the anterior cruciate ligament in the knee. Arthroscopic surgery uses an arthroscope, a thin viewing instrument that is inserted through a small incision into a joint. Slender surgical instruments are inserted through the arthroscope for surgery. Because only small incisions are used with arthroscopic surgery, you can expect less pain, bleeding, and scarring, as well as a faster recovery time.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections & Cortisone Injections
Our orthopedic doctors administer onsite in-office Cortisone Injections to combat the inflammatory process of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, trigger finger, bursitis, gout, and other conditions that cause pain, reduced motion, and decreased function. We provide onsite Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections to help relieve pain and lubricate joints for easier movement. Cortisone Injections and Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Injections may be repeated overtime and can help delay joint surgery for some people.
