Dr. David Ethier • Dr. James Seymore

David B. Ethier, MD

David B. Ethier, MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon who is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Ethier is Medically Qualified in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, and flight surgery. Dr. Ethier is the Chief of Surgery and Chairman of the Orthopedic Advisory Board at Munroe Orthopaedic Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. He is a Veteran of the United States Air Force Flight Surgeons.

Dr. Ethier earned his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He performed a Transitional Internship at Scott Medical Center, Scott AFB, IL. Dr. Ethier completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He opted for Fellowship-Training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky, Section of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Ethier is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including:

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the Florida Orthopaedic Society, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, Society of Air Force Clinical Surgeons, Society of USAF Flight Surgeons, and USUHS Department of Surgery.

Dr. Ethier's research is published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has presented internationally and nationally.

James C. Seymore, MD

James C. Seymore, MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon who is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Seymore earned his Medical Degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. He performed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Indiana at Indianapolis and Orthopedic Residency at the Medical College of Virginia at Richmond, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Seymore has practiced orthopedic surgery for more than 30 years and received Hyperbaric Medicine Training in 2006. He is a Veteran Captain General Medical Officer of the United States Army, where he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.

Dr. Seymore is distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the Fraternity of American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Marion County Medical Society of Ocala Florida, Florida Medical Association (Delegate), American Medical Association, Florida Orthopaedic Society, and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
